Is CPC any different from the other computer support companies in Central Oregon?

YES!

-No fly-bye repairs                       - No condescending attitudes from techs
-Follow up on repair calls            -Solid system documentation
-Proactive repairs                        -Issue tracking to avoid half done work

You see Cascade Professional Computing (CPC) grows out of years of work on small and large business networks in Central Oregon.  We've been in the trenches, so to speak, for 10 years now.  10 years of seeing what works and what doesn't work, in small doctors offices, large doctors offices, constructions companies, home offices and more.  And from that time one thing stands out.
The status quo of fly-bye repairs is no longer sufficient for todays business.
There are many brilliant computer "Geeks" running around, however smart they are they cannot keep track of every detail of a network system and every request made of them on their own.  CPC makes use of some very powerful tools to avoid issues like
    - half fixed user problems
    - dropped projects half way through
    - Clients spending more money fixing a computer then a new one cost
    - Re work because of lost network documentation
These are some of the same systems that are used by large corporations such as Nike, HP, Health South, and many others.

If this is a better way then why aren't all the techs using such tools?
That answer is actually quite simple.  These tools are better, however they most benefit  the clients.  Each of these corporate style systems were designed to help reduce bottom line cost.  Systems that help huge help desk at fortune 500 companies solve problems faster and with less man hours.  Systems that reduce return repair visits to reduce cost.  Systems that predict issues  to reduce down time  for users.  So the average tech does not have much incentive to develop such tools as it will reduce their pay per client.

So, why does CPC want to develop these tools if it means less income per client?
Simply put, we want more clients, volume.  These tools help us run a "tight ship" on our cost side as well.  The more efficient we are, the more clients we can service.  And with these service tools our cost per service stays low.
